Financing the Expansion
The Board of Trustees of the Letot Center Capital Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit established to raise funds for the original Letot Center, has authorized a capital campaign to raise gifts and grants for the Girl’s Residential Treatment Center from foundations, corporations, individuals and families. The campaign will seek to raise a total of $8.7 million.

Donations to the campaign will be directed to and held in the Letot Center Capital Foundation fund at The Dallas Foundation. The Dallas Foundation will manage the funds and oversee their disbursement during construction of the facility.

Following the precedent of the existing Letot Center, the facility will be built using private sector funds and gifted to the County which will provide for an estimaged operating budget of $2.25 million and building maintenance.
